Default opinions needed!!!

Please have a look at http://www.SuperPresent.com
We just evolved into this industry a few month ago. The site attracts visitors, but not much buyers for some reason. I am not sure how to check the Google ranking. Can anybody help, please?

The site looks nice, but is not user friendly. I had to guess on how to use the site. To much going on and not enough information.

Another possibility could your your search application. I put in Birthday, for him, age 0 to 5 (for my son), games and humorous.

I got ideas like:
Bow Pistol and Arrows
Leather Vest and Briefs
Brief Case
Ab Machine

Are these things YOU would by a 5 year old?

You may want to work on your application before doing any real marketing. I can tell you right now that even though there were toys mixed in there, I would be hard pressed to buy from a company that has such a poor search function.

And since that is your main selling key, you should make sure it really works. If you get the application to screen the gift choices better you may see sales rise.

And the person walking animation does nothing for your site. It is another distraction put there to show that someone can use Flash. If it does not benefit the main function of the site, then it hurts it.

Best of luck.

your site takes too long to load... and then requests downloading of macromedia 7.0.... which I would not do.... and many people, in this time of viruses and spyware, are also not willing to download anything.
also, your navigation is slow... most people will simply opt to go to another site that sells the same or similar products that's easier to use.

The site is clean and tidy to look but it loads too slowly and doesn't work well.

I tried to find a present for a female friend who's 'hobby' is gourmet. I was offered a jewellery box, a folding recliner, cosmetics, a leather case, an oriental garden fountain, a box of chocolates, bar chairs and Espresso Makers! I opted for the coffee jugs and then discovered that I had also chosen a Therapeutic Body Position Pillow, oh no I hadn't! Having deleted the pillow I then discovered I'd chosen 2 sets of coffee jugs, oh no I hadn't! I changed the quantity from 2 to 1 and clicked Update but it wouldn't change the quantity. I gave up!!

You say you've had visitors but not many orders...I wonder why?

Consumer confidence is vital for shopping sites, there should be zero errors anywhere. Even spelling errors sow negative seeds. By the way, Congretulations is spelled congratulations.

This site is too complexed and buggy by far. I would never buy from it.

Your http://validator.w3.org validation check revealed 353 errors and most of them are sloppy things like missing end tags.

You have small photographs at 20kb+, these should be half that size. Not everyone has broadband in fact most don't. I agree with Scott about the Flash, frankly it's showy and meaningless a bit like the tiny text that claims 'You are just a click away from your successful gift story. We create Super Happy Present moments with Personal touch. Gift Idea Satisfaction Guaranteed. Thank you for trust.'

This site means well and if it worked as intended would probably do well but it needs a great deal of work to sharpen it up.

Good luck!
