Hi,
I recently broke from my repressive work environment and started my own research company selling high-tech market research. I would love to hear any comments about my website. My main objective is to start with the business world of which I know a little something and branch into more socially meaningful topics of exploration--thiings that might change the way we see ourselves and the world.

Here's the address http://www.dedalusconsulting.com

Thanks in advance.

Frank

I liked it. The site was easy to navigate. It seemed to be an interesting site. A couple of the pics didn't come up (press briefs), but that may have been my computer. Good site.

Interesting site. It took an unusually long time to load for such small thumbnails. A look at the file size turned up the answer: 172127 bytes for one of the many thumbnails you use. Unless your aim is to deter those on dialup connections, you can speed load times substantially by scaling the full size image down to thumbnail size. Don't just set the image size on the page to 92x103, use a 92x103 pixel image.

Otherwise the materials are indeed geared toward a tech savvy target. One idea you can provide is explaining the technologies to the rest of the company, and the advantages to customers. An infographic approach or visual information design may increase accesibility here.

The site looks good. But not quite as accesible as it might be. Create real thumbnails for quick page loads. Create infographics to quickly explain ideas to the customer, and customer's customer.
