| Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

Hi,
I think your overall design is OK but it needs more of something, to be sure. One thing that concerns me is the way you're not using tables for layout. Those three columns of NFL names don't work. I'd suggest using tables to make the team logos work better (currently they're just sitting in the element). The font used for the rock'n'roll acts in the far left-hand column could be brighter -- you might want to think about using a background image for that column, or something. Also... the text isn't centering perfectly in the column and looks like you've left it unfinished. In your meta data, the title isn't really a title -- just spam. Cheers, |

1) h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6 are header tags. They are not to be used to increase the size of a font. You are not using them correctly. <h1> pulling most importance should have the title of the page etc. h2 and so on for headers. Think of your page as a hiearchy. h1 being at the very top of importance and then go down from there. You can use CSS to changes the appearence of any element.
2. You can gain much better code ratio if you use CSS(Cascading Style Sheets). HTML should only have your content. Any presentation should be done with it(CSS). Seperating presentation from content should decrease your filesize by 50% or more so the search engines see the important stuff not just a bunch of <font> tags. see www.w3schools.com for a bunch of information on it. Also a good article is on XHTML/CSS and SEO it will give you an idea on what i'm talking about http://www.alistapart.com/articles/seo/

Quality "related" links are what you want. I am not sure what the Almost Nothing link has to do with your site, and when you go there it is obviously another link page written in a different language.
But then, as I look at the other links at the bottom of all your pages, I see you have formed a little "ring" of sites of your own. Are all these your domains? uptownticket.com uptowntickets.com, lionkingtickets.com, tickettrader.com . . . If so, you need to decide which is your main site (I am guessing the uptowntickets.com is the main site), then have all the other ticket related sites link into is (like now, for all the products). Then get rid of the links from your main site back to your "portal" sites. Also, drop the links of the portal sites to each other, or a least make them one way (i.e. site 1 links to site 2 which links to site 3 which links to site 1). Everybody gets a link, and Google thinks them a little more authoritative, since they are link trades. But what do I know, this is just what I have read. Any of you veterans want to comment on this?
