My name is Takashi and I run a retail business in Canada, the shop is doing very well but simply because I am the only shop in town that has this concept. My next business plan was to expand at a international level, more specifically targeting the american market. The cost effective solution as you know was to go online. I and my partner has created a website that literally took 3 months to make, the postive side is we did it with no cost at all except for the domain name and hosting. My questions to you markting Gurus is first what do you think about the website we created? Please be honest even if it's mean or rude. Second how can I imporve it. I have read the internet marketing research site and I plan to read each categpry and apply it to the website. But as you know creating a brand in my opnion needs creativity, somthing that will make a emotional connection with the customers so that he or she will come back.
I guess what I'm really trying to do is create a brand online and how do I do that? Simply put marketing on internet is completely different than markting in my local area and I need help on the online is concerned. Overall design is sharp, however, the dotted lines tend to distract my eyes so you might consider a lighter color or maybe a solid line to blend with your design.

Are you aware of the spelling error in the graphic on your opening page?

You offer a great assortment of products... What would I need to log in for?... For people like me, not familair with your service, you need to express the log on purpose for your site. The Welcome Guest area offers a great opportunity to pack your keywords into a compelling paragraph that would entice me to click there.

Desciptive text with the product picture is another opportunity to get your key search words onto your page.

From my perspective you are on the right track...

Love the layout and simplictiy of the site. Very nicely done.

The one thing I see needs to be fixed is the spelling mistake on the splash page and thats all. Although I do like the design of the splash page, maybe do away with it as it really has no purpose.

I browsed through just about all your products and found alot of them very cool and interesting. I think you have a great thing here, pretty much your own Niche market.

The website reflects the products your selling very nicely.

Layout of home page is nice.

Commerce section is osCommerce without any credit given to them so review is not appropriate. They already know their software is good! You should tell them too. That package has taken hundred upon thousands of people years to make....
