Thanks in advance. http://www.fishalaskamagazine.com/ is a recent redesign of a 3 year old site. It needed the major overhaul to include a nicer way to subscribe. Google has improved it's PR from 4 to 5 but I had hoped for more. Please let me know what you think and what needs tweaking.

Thanks,

JM

Tested in IE6 56k modem 800x600. Page is a little slow to load particularly the graphics. Slightly too wide for 800x600. Otherwise, a very nice design. Good luck with it.

Thanks Nick,

I know its a bit slow but the client really wants the header image and I've optimized it as much as I thought I could. Guess I'll go back and see where else I can shave some seconds off.

Anyone else have comments?

Thanks,

JM

I did a search on "fish alaska" and you're knocking the top out. Then a search on "alaska fishing" and you aren't in the top 50.

I looked in your keywords and found "alaskan fishing". You're well rated for that. I realize that "Alaskan" would be the correct search, however there's a lot of us dumb crackers what would put terms in like "alaska fishing" and live with what comes up.

Super looking site and great ranking. Kudos.

Now, will you send me one of those pretty salmon on the home page?

Thanks JF,

That's why I submit for review. Get too close and lose the bigger picture!

Instead of sending a fish, you ought to come up here for your vacation. (I know "Vacation??? What's that?) Its a lot more fun catching it yourself :-)
