This is my first real run at a site. I was always told, work on things you love to do. So this site is about boating and where to have fun in my local area. My hope is to be able to sell advertising to a local market. Thanks for your time!

The biggest problem (to start with) is how long the home page takes to download. Some of your images are real size hogs. Run the page through an optimizer to find out which ones are the problem. If you don't have access to professional tools you can try http://www.netmechanic.com/toolbox/html-code.htm.

Pages on your site shouldn't open in a new window. Advertiser links should.

Go through and make sure the photo captions are what you want them to say not the name of the image.

The site needs some basic clean up before it goes live and you try to sell to advertisers. You've got one shot with them. If they have to wait for the page to download they won't.
