Default www.infectiousthreads.com - retail punk clothes

Hi,
I have about 300 visitors to my site but not sales to match...anything that would make the visitor drop out before purchasing?

I will review your site if you review mine.

Thanks for your constructive criticism and have a great day!

looking at your site from a design view, your tables (on the home page especially) are not centered. I only clicked on "girls dresses" but could not find a link back to 'home'
This is not an easy site for me to review because my children are all adults and only wear Lauren, eddie bauer, tommy hilfiger and such and never buy clothing on-line. But, I am guessing that your visitors are probably a younger set and perhaps too young to have a credit card of their own and therefore, cannot buy your products.
I personally do not like the colors and fonts, but apparently they are appropriate to your products.

Default thanks for your review!

Hi Info,

Thanks so much for taking the time to review my site. I forgot to add a "home" button, and you just might be right about the kids not having credit cards.

I checked out your site and it looks great! I'm still new to this, so I don't have any suggestions for improvement.

Have a great day!

I'd also fix the overall width of your site. I use a 1600x1200 display and when your site loaded the menu buttons were down the left and the main table was across on the right - but the gap in the middle was bigger than both put together. I was expecting something else to load until I realised :)

Like info202 said, centering it might help.

Also, I know it might be the image you are going for, but bright green on red is one of the less favoured colour combos - it confuses the eyes. And red text against black can also be a bit difficult to read - but again, you have an image to go for. Tricky one :)

I noticed that the 'click' image is missing (you see a red cross) on your buttons.

A quick look at the source - are those keywords likely to be something people would actually search for? (kool klothing, kustom kulture?). Maybe they're TMs, so that would be OK. Just a thought.

for one.. I love your products you have on there. Where are some hot punk girlies wearing the gear??

The website is very bland, doesn't really say these cloths are so friggin cool I'll sell my dog to get them. I don't think having a credit card is the problem. You accept checks and money orders. Maybe with the shopping cart add an option to make a printable order form so they can mail the order. Also have your address and phone number on all the pages so they call if the have a question on something.

The logo is much louder than the rest of the site. Color scheme is very harsh on the eyes. If you want to use black try using some greys instead.

That's about all I can add right now. Good luck.

Two things while 300 visiters a day ( I guess that is a day ) sounds good you probley need to be getting closer to 500. These also need to be targeted they need to be looking for clothes not pop ups or those site view things but people looking for clothes.

Now to the site I would keep the logo but everything else I would tone way down. You have to think about what info202 said. Even though you want the younger kids the site needs to apeal to the older people also.
