The site was too disturbing for me to really go through much of it. So I guess it is succeeding in your purpose.

I don't know if the opening photo is really as effective as it could be. Yes, it made an immediate political statement but I read the photo to say "Bush - Bad" rather than "Bush's War - Bad". If you don't mind preaching to the choir its probably ok.

Here's the problem. If I wanted my friends/family to vote against Bush or against this war I couldn't send them to your site to convince them. While everything that I saw was real... it was too real to send to the middle-of-the-roaders that I know.

Maybe there is no way to tone it down and remain honest but the entire experience was too visceral for me.

Nevertheless, I do wish you sincere good luck.

All I can say is where were you when America was attacked on 911? After I saw your page I left quickly.

I was in Washington DC on 9/11 and I was as shocked as everyone else was at the outrageous attacks on the Pentagon and the Twin Towers. God bless all who have suffered so greatly in all the nations of the world since that devastating day.

I'm sorry that my site offended you but I have seen the lack of honest representation by the news media of the horrors and atrocities that are being perpetrated against an innocent civilian population, children who can not run or defend themselves or even understand what is happening or why.

I tried really hard not to review your content - in part because it stands for itself. What I tried to do is give a review of the site. If I was mistaken in your purpose, my apologies. Nevertheless, if I tried to send a pro-war person that website I would never hear from them again no matter how realistic and truthful it is.

The war and the president are subjects for other forums.

not a problem. I'm sitting here with a broken foot and get cranky easily :-)

I guess we need to have more than one way to present the information so that the most people can get it. Your approach is one valid method. I would really like to see someone take an approach that is as brutal without the politics - letting the visitor draw their own conclusion. My own antiwar site (now pulled for redesign) was all words and it too only reached the converted.

So your site was well organized, easy to get around, appropriate color choice/font choice as well as being very hard to go through.

I assure you that my intention with respect to site content was not to offend anyone but to show a little of what is NOT being shown in the US media. My reason for posting here was for a review however one can't always be expected to objectively separate content from design.

BTW if you would like to say something to me you have the option of IMing me through WPW.
