Arabian Racing Times.com is my first attempt in putting together a web site. I did not do the developemnt, it was done with my input by a professional. Some sections are still under development. The 'back end' administrative section is WebEditPro which I use daily. Now that the site is pretty much complete it is time to start submitting the site to the search engines and marketing. Although my background is in sales and marketing I have no clue about submission techniques.

I would be more than happy to review other sites from a 'users' standpoint, not technical.

I can't help you with search engine submission, but I can give you my thoughts on your design. I like the left hand navigation bar (the use of the baground of the horse gives it a classy look). What is the big section of blue across the top? It just takes up space. The black background hurt my eyes as did the multiple colors of the letters. Lastly, the picture of the timepiece is visually distorted and doesn't look very good. Your content is good, but the design needs some work.

On your intro page have no idea how long I will have to wait. I also thing you will loose a lot of customers there and the search engines also.
On netscape on mouse over a lot of little windows opened and would not shut.
You need a better logo I would get rid of the banners on the home page.
The white text on the black background is hard to read.
