Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate.

Default www.pocketdialuk.com - Comments most appreciated

http://www.pocketdialuk.com

Dear All,

I would be most grateful for any feedback that can be offered on my site which I have developed as a total newbie to web development. I have used Dreamweaver for this.

I am aware of some of the problems such as clumsy navigation and hanging pages but nevertheless would value all comments and critique in order that I can take steps so seriously improve the website.

Thanks in advance!

Jon

P.S. Criticism encouraged.

Your code contains two Title tags, delete the 2nd one. Why are you using so much space? It would not hurt your site at all to compact it tighter and do away with the majority of the blank white areas. Your drop-down menu does not require that much space below it, get rid of it.

Opening links in new windows are fine if you are leading your visitor away from your site while keeping them at your site as well, but when you are linking to an internal site, keep them in the same window. Surfers hate having to go back and 'clean up' by closing the windows they left behind.

I am not seeing a navigation menu. Even though you have links through-out your text, you should place a menu on each page so your visitor can find their way around the site without having to 'go back'.

Your grammer needs a lot of cleaning up: here is an example; Firstly: Use the ratefinder tool above to check the rates for your country. It should read:
First: use the rate finder ..........

Add meta tags to all of your pages, not just your home page.

All in all, you have a good thing started, clean it up, reduce your sizes and it will look more professional.

Good luck :)
