Default www.T1Solutions.com - Please Review!

I would very much appreciate any feedback that is provided for our new website: http://www.T1Solutions.com

Our goals are somewhat different from most websites, so it is difficult to find suggestions on how to improve. We have a lot more pages to add to the site, but want to make sure we're on the right track before we go too far.

The layout and design was done by a friend and former coworker, and we are happy that it is unique. However, I believe that we need to do something to "jazz up" the body of the main pages, and perhaps continue to rework much of the text.

We want our visitors (with a legitimate need) to fill out the quote request form located at the right of each page. Does the form stand out enough? Is it obvious that our service is free to use?

What are your thoughts regarding the layout and graphics? PLEASE BE HONEST!! We are sincerely looking to improve!

Nice graphic logo and navigation images. I would make your layout a bit wider, so it fits on a 800x600 monitor resolution (its kind of squished over on one side). You could even look into having a resizable site.

"Define - Compare - Connect" is kind of catchy. I think if I were to reword this, I would choose to use well known keywords. The word "Define" is too vague. Don't make people think about what you have to offer - make it obvious.

Also I would work on your <title> tag. This is one of the most important tags when it comes to search engine ratings, so you really need to make it count. The first rule is to make sure you use the most important keywords in the first part of the title. The second thing to watch out for is using your company name (unless your famous or something)

Well good luck and I hope this helped a little.

The site is good looking enough. Jazz is, usually, a distraction from the user task. Sometimes this is a convenient distraction from a lack of information.

I would suggest adding a business proposition. This should answer the question why choose your service and why you. A typical way to do this is something like "The Five Mistakes People Make Deciding on A T1 Provider..."

The site is good looking enough. The only thing "jazz" would serve is distraction from deficiencies. One specific is the need to answer why the site visitor should insert you into the decision making process. Hopefully the pages added will address this.

Default THANKS!

Thank you very much for the advise. Your suggestions make a lot of sense and I will definitely be looking into them. One delima I am currently experiencing is finding a good, local developer who can help me make changes on the fly. Does anyone know of a developer in Raleigh, NC, who I can trust to take on the maintenance and growth of this site and possibly some new ones?

We hope to work with someone locally so we can meet regularly to go over ideas and proposals, etc.

Thanks again for the help! All feedback is very much appreciated.

I want to call more attention to the quote request form on the right hand side of the page. What do you think about adding some flash to something on that part of the page, so as to draw more attention to it. Most people think flash is worthless, but if used tastefully, is it worth it? Do you think it will hurt our search engine rankings?

very clean, very nice site. i have almost no negative feedback... only suggestion is to maybe axe the service provider logos, they add alot of clutter and probably dont need to be on every page (also would help with slow modem loads)
