This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

My site for review: http://www.e-centrixonline.com
Hi Reviewers, Firstly I would like to thank in advance anyone who has a look at our website, we certainly appriciate your feedback! Our site is an online entertainment 'e-zine' which is primarily for residents of The Wirral, in the United Kingdom, but it also contains movie & games reviews, discussion forums and general articles that may be of interest to others as well. If anyone who would be interested in us reviewing their website, let us know when you write your review and we'll check it out for you. Cheers, Ed Quinn Web Development Team Leader |

User testing is the best form of information gathering. That said, it seems to me New Articles and Recent Article should take center stage. This would be more in the form of an ezine, and perhaps draw in users.
Webproworld has a bit better look and feel of the ezine and forum combination. I would move the general sections to the side where the news now is. The current setup seems to put too many clicks between the user and a specific article, and don't seem to be informative enough about what you'll get when you click. |

Thanks, the layout does need some work, I like your ideas of bringing the articles into the main section of the page. This will be even more critical as the site grows, so that we can direct users traffic with deep-linking.
I would also be interested to hear any comments with regards to content and any ideas of how to get people to register on the site! Thanks again, Ed |

Forums need to establish what I will call a critical mass. Key people, with interesting opinions, lead others. You've started the ball rolling.
Content has to be unique and compelling. Talking about Weaver vs Davis is one thing, getting an interview with the two of them is another. We talk about "content is king," but few really ponder what that should mean. Especially in an environment where competitive advantages must be sought. Registration flows from points one and two. Then you can accellerate registration rates with contests, prizes, etc. |
