Please review my site! I am not getting many hits; a handful a week at best.

I like the gold and black color theme. But I think your site needs something more. Maybe try a new layout and due away with that really really slow animation. Plus there is something wrong with your homepage center image showing up.

Keep playing around with it.

The HTML is wonky. Probably the SE's are working to hard to interpret the site and giving up.

Like this (I xxx'd out your email so it wouldn't get crawled):

<p align="center"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><font size="4">Brew Master Smith</font><font size="4" color="#660000"> </font><font size="4">is
a

Drinker with a Writing Problem</font>
</font><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
</font><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"></font></p>

Thats a lot of bold and font tags opening for no reason. I'd go through the entire site and clean those out. Replace them with style sheets. You define a couple at the top and then I'm not sure if you're using them.

Here is the text from an HTML validator on that same page. Use it as a general guide, not law. Some of the trouble is due to unquoted values. I'd consider dumping the plain black for a more golden beer color with maybe forest green accents. It'll help get rid of the "Circa 1995" vibe.

WOW! I'd hate to see the FULL PAGE report on this sites code. That's a bit over the top. I would have just said that the designer might want to consider working with Cascading Style Sheets instead of using the <FONT> tag which has been deprecated. Todays browsers will still view this tags font setting, but there is no guarentee in future versions.
