Hello everyone, i am working at a travel agency while going to night classes for my degree. this is my first website and i really need imput....i do not have total freedom with the site but i still would like to hear your thoughts.

The user is the best judge, still there seems to be too much graphic cuteness, too little user centered content. This type of site could be more like a magazine, with articles suggesting innovative travel destinations, or warning of tourist traps. Instead it seems to be a series of splash pages.

Lonely Planet has a more useful "splash" type page. But inside is more in line with what I'm talking about. CNN travel is a lot to take in -- perhaps a little too much -- but handles the load as best as could be expected. I would attempt to find a middle route between these two.

In short, the site throws cuteness and site centered design at the user instead of what the user went there for.
