Default www.Online-Kiosks.net - internet kiosk messaging system

I've been developing a subscription based internet kiosk messaging and advertising system for the past 6 months or so (at www.Online-Kiosks.net). It is pretty much complete and getting some hits, but very few people are signing up for the free trial subscription period. Any thoughts relating to the site design, content, overall marketing approach or anything else would be helpful. Also, let me know if you dont understand what I'm offering if you look at it - that could be part of the problem. I'm happy to do reciprocal reviews as well. Thanks! Mike

Default Initial impressions

Mike,

I just took a brief look at your site and I have some initial feedback. I will try to look more extensively at your site in the next day or two and give more in-depth feedback at that time. In the meantime, here are my comments:

1. Your message is unclear. I thought the overall look of the site was fine, but it took me a while to even figure out what your product is. The opening paragraph (the first thing a viewer sees) doesn't quickly and clearly explain what you have and how it works, much less how much it costs. If you are trying to attract business thru surf-in-traffic, this is a hindrance.

Now, if you are going to use your site as a secondary source of information (i.e. you've already made initial contact with a potential customer), the site is okay... but not as a primary sales tool.

Are you selling software, hardware, online services or a combination of all three? I realize the information is probably all there somewhere, but its not easily and immediately accessible. If the product is too complex to quickly sum up you have to make a choice - either oversimplify and then supply more info as you go along (my recommendation) or don't count on your website as a primary sales tool.

Also, your demo could use refining. When a whole page loaded I was expecting a whizbang presentation but what I saw was a. lacking in info, b. simple enough that it could've been presented in smaller, less complex format and c. didn't have a "stop" or "exit" button.

That's it for the quick analysis. Pardon me if I sound abrupt. I don't mean to, just thought you would like an honest assessment, as viewed through the eyes of a first time, surf-in viewer of your site.

More later, as time allows.

Adam,

Default All feedback is great!

I definately appreciate your comments and dont take anything negatively. Your comments definately suggest why I'm not getting new people signing up. I am relying on the site as a primary tool, so I will continue to refine it. Thanks so very much for the look, and I look forward to additional comments if you have any.

Default Any help is appreciated

I am more than happy to do a review of anyone's site who reviews mine. I've reviewed a couple hoping they would do the same. I guess I picked the wrong people. So, I'll go the other way and offer to review those who review mine. thanks!
