Default Styles

The first think you'll have to do is find a common style for all your pages. The feeling is that I'm navigating from website to website.

I liked it, it did take my dialup 3 minutes to load. So please put a skip button on the Enter page. I didn't understand it or it's idea, but I liked it. Anything different I like. After I get my Direcway fixed again, I will revisit your site. Put a "about us" page there for us that don't know much. But speed is everthing for us in the country with dialup. That Tornado we had here last May took my roof and my Direcway and all I got now is dialup to surf with. But you are doing great. www.oohdale.com

Few comments:
Try to keep consistency in all pages.
Create some perpetual buttons for navigation.
Try to avoid frames etc.

Overall it is good start, keep it up

Default Cats Italian Website

Hi:
I did not have any trouble with the loading. I could not understand the goal of the website, tried to pick out a few words I could recognize.

I don't know if "cute" is what you want to hear - but I think your website IS cute. I liked the cat photos and the cartoon-like images of your web pages.

The website overall made me smile!

Good luck with your site.

Regards,

Thanks! your observation is right, but there's a reason: the site is two years old and I thought it needed some changes.
But I didn't think that now is less homogenous. Maybe, I'll have to change the layout of the pages, but slowly so those who knew the website won't have a shock! ;-)
I meant to make a funny and cute website, with some interesting news. Soon I will make an English version.
However, Don't you find the little cat with balloon funny?
Thank you, all of you, very much for the comments and advice!

Default Yes, cat with balloon is cute

I thought the site was really cute and lots of fun. I found it a little hard to figure out what I was supposed to click on.

After thinking about it all night, I think you need a name for the Cat, a branding name like "Garfield" has. Like "Itchy and Scratchy: A branding name like Dutch or a combo language type name. A cross breed; Italian & English" A type in name that no one forgets and gets you a lot of attention and that has type in traffic like Garfield. Then it would have good SEO and meta tag potential and etc. ROI is what we all want right? A branding name like Garfiled has. Redunancy is like rote memory is right. "You must never tell a thing. You must illustrate it.
We learn through the eye and not the noggin."
~ Will Rogers, American actor and humorist ~
  • "Rufus Dufus"
  • "Alley Kat"
  • "Shelly Belly"
  • "Tina Roo"
  • Savvy? These are just examples to make a point.

Hi germainef:
Yes, since you asked, I do find the cat with the balloon adorable. Let us know when we can read the site in English.

Default oh thank you, really!!

Thank you for your attention! I'm going to make the English version soon, for next week, probably. I didn't think a name for the cat, but I think it's a nice idea. It usually speaks English, so it should be an English or US name. I've to think it! When you come back, you'll find all easier to understand.
bye!!!

Hi,

I liked the site from a point of view of fun. It's a fun site and that's good. Since you're Italian, I'm just a little disappointed that you didn't include a section on the Gattopardo -- a book that has an unforgettable cat finale.

Maybe you could name your mascot 'Lampedusa'? (Just kidding;)

Cheers,
Matt

Default Yes, I've an idea...

to put a section on feline's books. sure, I'll do it and, maybe, I'll take your suggestion, although I've never read that book; I've got it in my library but... a great lack, I know!
I'm glad you found my site funny and you liked it!
bye!!!

But is it as interesting as your website?

Cheers,
Matt

Default Cat Website

Hi Germainef:

How about naming the cat 'Figaro' - which I am sure you know is the cat's name in 'Pinocchio?' I watched the 'Pinocchio' video with my 2-1/2 year old grandson a few days ago and it made me think of your website cat.

Regards,

Hey! Don't foget Moravia, it was a very good writer.
I'm sorry Im'afraid I can't put an English translation on my website, now, because I have to change each menu and it'll take a lot of time, so I hope I'll be able to do it in september, maybe.
Bye !

Regards,
hi! At last, I decide for " Figaro", the name you told me, I like it!
Now, there isn't an English version, as I told you, but there's the Babel fish translation a " speedy translation", so that you can translate the entire page.
bye everybody!!:))
