To much on the home page. The back ground makes it hard to read anything you have to say, also slows down the load time.
The picture on http://www.5starpsychicadvice.com/Our_Service.html are hard to see.
You open a new page when I click on the link. A lot of the pop up killers are going to stop that or you will have people like me that do want want to open a new window everytime they click on a link and they will leave.
You have no logo and the look and layout of every page should be the same.

I viewed your site using Opera 7.2 because if there's a problem with xHTML or JavaScript coding it's a good bet that it will glare at me with it. I don't know if other browsers render your vertical auto-scroller in the same way that Opera does, but it doesn't show the complete text. The right side is cut off. That's the "This Psychic Co-op Community is where you can & will recieve..." area.

Your status bar scroller has information about Halloween. Stale content indicates that a lack of attention is being paid to the site. Others here might suggest how passee the use of status bar scrolling scripts is, but not me. I'll leave that to others.

The elements and content of the home page appear to be somewhat haphazardly arranged on the space. It's a balance thing. There's no consistency in column widths or font sizes.

Speaking of consistency -- each page is different. There's no branding; no logo; no identifying mark; no element or group of elements that give us the comfort that predictability affords. Some pages don't even mention 5 star. As a whole, the site strikes me as a jumble of disjointed designs with no discernable rhyme or reason, except various mystic symbols.

Sorry to be so hard on you but, if you want people to take you seriously, your presentation has to give at least a remote appearance of professionalism.

before I got this message please check it out now.I just dont like everything looking the same ol same old.I thought I had 5 Star psychic advice mentioned on every page. Ive put a lot of work into it for the 8 months Ive been online we went from ranking 476.726 to ranking 137,??? in alexa in 8 months so I thought I was doing good. lol.If I didnt want critisism I wouldnt of ask for it Thank you

Well, same-old, same-old may seem boring, but having some kind of consistent look will offer your site some professionalism and give your site some stickiness.
Not doing so, just gives your visitors a reason to leave, because you're making it hard for them to navigate your site. It also doesn't help that a number of your links open to a new page. I thought I was going to a different site.

I'm not going to tell you to ignore it, but I wouldn't put an inordinate amount of time and energy into this. The rankings are based on the Alexa toolbar. Seems mostly web designer / developers have it installed. Other than that... Well, no one else, including most of our clients have even heard of Alexa. The demographics are not an accurate reflection of the general public.

You would do well to design a logo. You need to create an identity. Then go here to have it critiqued
