Hello,

I have developed a new discussion portal at only developers which is is a open community for discussing open source programs and trade ideas as well as help out others to grow your development knowledgebase. Please click here to visit. http://www.onlydevelopers.com

The site is in ASP and focused on ASP, .Net related discussion. I need a frank review from the fellow members, so that I can analize the site faults and present a good site to the internet community.

Sections of site i.e. discussion forums, Upload download sections, Member's Area, Guest book, polls are fully functional and adding more features like, articles, Faq's, link directory which are in process. I am also developing a brand new theam which will take another one week time along the 3 theams which site is using.

I will appreciate your reviews, critiques and valuable suggestion towards this. You can register now and all the forums are active. We also require volantiers who can be a forum moderators, Contributers, or any other.

Please note that this is a complete non profit work provide a Open a free board to the developer community.

Looks interesting but needs more members although I notice you've been posting yourself to try to get things going which is good. I've bookmarked it and will take a look from time to time. Good luck with it.

I just tried to view your site with IE6 and no content appears in your main pages, just the menu and the banner. The IB forum works, but thats about it.

Thanks for bookmark. The site is newly launched just 15 days, we have 27 members till today.

We have restructured the menu and make it more compact.
-We have changed the skin and also ceating logo and other themes for site.
-Now user can select any skin from three skins provided from the drop down menu.

-Now user can add downloads
-New link directory added and working fine now

Hi!

Nice design and good load speed. Just two things:
- into your buttoms like login or Cast my Vote, you should define a text style, because you have used Verdana into the rest of text. But this is just a style comment.
- In my opinion, but it's just very personal, so many different information into the main page (with so long scroll): visitors, top posters, ads, polls, etc... If I were you, I would try to distribute the information in a different way, for example, trying to use the empty space at both sides at the top centered menu. But as I have told you, this is just my personal opinion, and not everybody has to agree.

But I have had a ver good impression from your web site.

Thanks a lot for your comments. We have added new features and need more suggestions like:

Please see if this site is heading on right path or not:

1. 15 days launch 40+ members 280+ posts
2. New structured link directory with more than 300 resource
3. User can add Downloads of there offrings at no cost
4. Trading board for project managers and developers
5. Site has 3 admins from USA, Canada and India and we will be operating from these three places with Canada as headquarter
6. Site promotion partners are shortlisted and negotiations going on with them.

There are more features are yet to be added, work is going on. i need to know how to running a non profit organization effectively so that the suits best to the pupose or the purpose of the site is good or unique

I am sorry to bring up the old thread again. But I need a sincier advice.

Based on your previous reviews and other suggestions from the different forums we have completely changed the site.

Since launching of the site is due on 1st January I am looking forward for your valuable suggestions so that we can rectify that within the time.
