Hi, I don't really consider myself as a pro-web designer, it's more of a hobby, but I didi this site for my Dad which I'm quite pleased with, and wanted some input from professionals etc. (there are a few things that need tweaking I know, but basically I'm happy with it) I look forward to getting feedback on this.

Hi Ian! Good work. The sites looks and works well, loads a bit slowly.
The design it's ok, but all the elements (logo, buttons), text are hugue! try to scale down all this stuffs and then the site looks better and more pro. But you have problems. The presentations redirects to home page, and Search Engines DON'T index redirects pages.
You can fix and improve this removing the presentation,
and use your home page such a presentations, adding some words "about us" "your job" etc. using in this text your main keywords, to raise the relevance text/keywords (now is too poor, about 9%!) Those stuffs can inprove your SEO work.

Good luck!

Default thanks for advice

Hi Thanks for the advice.
I know the buttons are way to big, but it was what they wanted, I gave them several options and that was what they went for, I'm also limited in what I can place on the site in the way of content as they want to decide everything as a committee, and don't always listen to my suggestions.

Have a nice day!
