Have just done a bit of a re-design, and removed the frames from the old site :-

I think the site is well designed for what it is about. I believe that you could do better with the menu system. It detracts from the professional look of the rest of the site. Other than the the image in the top banner being blurry, the site is put together quite nicely.

Your source needs all the meta information if you want to be found on search engines.

Good luck.

I think the best way to improve this site would be to lose the clouds in the navigation buttons. Your professional image will become much clearer.

Firstly - Apologies to you both for not getting back to your replies much, much earlier (I completely forgot I had posted the updated Campbell Fitzpatrick web site here).

I agree with you both about the buttons (I think they would have looked fairly good about 5 or 6 years ago - but they look a bit bulky and unprofessional now, not to mention the fact that the font for them is Times New Roman, and the rest of the site is Verdana).

I am currently updating it again (while trying to get the hang of CSS for all the formatting (not easy)).

The updated site (index page only) is at http://www.campbell-fitzpatrick.co.u...ing/index.html

Kingman - Do you think I should go for drop down menus (I am in 2 minds about whether I like them or not). Also - what Meta information am I missing?

Thanks both again for your comments.

Designhead - I like your site. Works well for me. Small comment - the first jpeg on your gift set page is 137KB which will be a bit slow for modem users.

Kingman - when I click on 'Prices' I get a '404 file not found' error message. When I go to one of your portfolios - my popup blocker stops the window from appearing.
