Default http://www.algarve4me.com

The web site http://www.algarve4me.comhas been running for approximately 2 years and has gone through numerous transformations. In designing the web site I have tried to keep most of the data accessible from the home page. The most recent change was today to change the index from html to php in order to display a random property on the home page. I may have created errors in doing this as my Home link button was linked directly to the old html index page.

I added javascript dhtml menus a couple of months ago to help keep most info above the fold but the problem with this is that the search engines have lowered my sites rankings.

Any advice or comments about my web site will be greatly appreciated.

hello, it might be a good idea to change your alt tags on your images so that they include keywords, especially you head logo as it will be one of the first things the spiders read. using title tags on your links is also a good way to get extra key words in.

I have altered my alt tags on the home page and also the summary table tags to reflect the web sites key words. I will now have to study how to add title tags to my links.

Does the home page load ok for you as its around 76k?

Do you know of any way to get the javascript menus to be visible to search engines?

Default site updated

Hi all,

Since first posting here back in June, I have been working hard to improve the overall layout of the site. I have dropped the dhtml menus and have cut down the amount of links on the home page.

My main problem is that my web site is slipping further back in the Google search results for the keyword search "algarve villa rental" now and despite having my web site online for some time, Google still has backwards links to pages which no longer exist.

Does anyone have suggestions or tips on what I need to do to the site to get it back up near the top 10 results?
