Hi mark,
the site looks pretty decent, though I would consider looking at the images you have. They are not top notch and look like they have been resized to a value which doesn't give it a smooth finish (I suggest resizing to either 50%, 25% or maybe 75% Our meta tags look good, though I would try to omit words like 'and' 'the' 'other' as they are generally not included in google searches. Put in some other words to boost your rating. Well done Dan Cubid Imagery www.cubid.co.uk |

Hi,
Do you have any website analysis software? I'd recommend using Quest's FunnelWeb -- it's freeware and can be downloaded and installed on your PC easily. Once you start using it it becomes quite addictive as it shows how your website is being used by customers. BTW, there's a small spelling error: "Hallgate Timber are one of the areas largest and cheapest timber and sheet material suppliers..." It should be "area's". I'm not sure why so many websites are designed with a restricted width... Personally I prefer to let the user's browser fix display area width. One really important consideration is getting as much info as you can 'above the fold' so that users read most of the important stuff without scrolling. That's all from me. Cheers, Matt |
