Default Thoughts on New concept for www.burkechristiantours.com

I've worked for this company for almost 2 years and took what was their original website (gross, is the only word that discribes it), and turned it into what you see now. (This is a perfect site for database integration but I have yet to learn how to do it, so for now it is static with many includes obviously). I am learning more about site design and layout and was wandering if everyone can give their input on a concept that I am working on for a new site look...

-----------------
Current site:
www.BurkeChristianTours.com

New Concept (Unfinished and not accessible through regular site):
www.BurkeChristianTours.com/tours/newsite04

-----------------

Please understand that the concept is just a single page and is not finished, it will not take effect until after our next yearly catalog (November). I just want to know what some thoughts are when compared to the current look. This will help me in my planning.

Thanks

NOTE: If you have any trouble viewing the site, I apologize. Our network administrator informed me that we have been having some trouble with our servers lately. These problems will be fixed before long though.

Default Go for the change

Hi Ken!
I have gone through both the sites. Definately go with the new site. The new site has definately come up with better color scheme and design display.

Default the new, no doubt

I think the new site is much more professional looking. The first was fine, (please don't take offense) but it looks like a template. The second has more pop and, as a consumer, I would be more likely to stay and browse it.
