Default Site Review

Hate to bust your bubble but Search Engines on the frames, aren't the only problem you have. DHTML you have running on the contact page does not work in Netscape, Mozilla, or Opera, all you get there is a blank screen in those browsers. Would suggest you revert to the typwriter mode seen in "Gift Ideas" and the small window at right, as that mode does appear to work in those.

The far left frame with Navigation contained does not set a scrollbar in windows shortened by additional tool bars. Although it has to move at least two bars before causing problems in Internet Explorer, there is no scroll bar there what so ever when that happens, you simply lose the "Search!" button. Opera does allow scroll if you have a wheel mouse, as you can scroll with the wheel, which is fortunate because the free version of the Opera browser creates problems straight away with the advertising in the top tool bars.

Otherwise you might want to tune the animation down a bit, between the add running at top, the small screen printing at right, the screen printing center, and animation and page transition happening at bottom, it gets to be a wee bit much at times.

As for the Frames Page not being found by the Search Engines, go into the Frames Page insert brief text, and lots of links in the page body. They won't be seen regardless, and it may help the page be found, or it may be considered as hidden text wherein the search engines may count it against you. Your only other option would be to run a gateway page, without frames for the purpose of search engnine optimization, and thereafter going to frames in the site. See www.rtfi.us

The site is well layed out however, and does make excellent utilization of frames. You managed to pack a whole lot of information in a very small package. Colors worked well for what you're doing there also. Very nice site, with a few minor fixes.

Default grathias seniors!

Ive been in Spain but took ones advice to hand and started recking the site to enable me to resolve some of the issues you so kindly pointed out to me!

The site might look poo but image is easily applied after the foundations have been relayed.

After months of not getting listed in the search engines ive already got listed in most and i put this down to the mega tag format i now benefit from loosing the frames.

Complaints have stopped coming in with reference to not being able to see parts of the whole page amongst other things!

I KNOW - I should have revamped the site before uploading the site but i should have some nice looking images and facias soon so it doesn't look so bland and boring. /the main thing as i say was to reset the lay out and foundations first.

I Hope you wont mind coming back in a while and reveiwing it again for me.

Much apprieciated.

Default ELTON JOHN

Is it me or does Steven look like Sir Elton.

Thou must hath forth intentions to double as he, for he who doubles as sir elton may seek much wealth and freebies.

Unless Steven is Sir Elton for which doubling as one self would be quite fruitless, almost nutty. Thy might say fruit and nutty!!

lol

Sir Chequeinside,

Such matters were in fact addressed in the Break Room some time back, where a fun little thread therein addressed celebrity look alikes amongst WPW members. Sir Steven was mentioned but alas he were not compared to Sir Elton! He was instead compared to Al Franken.

You'll find the thread at http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=6669

Feel free to post him up and bring it back to the top of the forum.

Rocky
