Default Please review our website: http://www.2start.co.uk

Hi All

2Start is a new web site containing lots of good stuff. We are hoping to make it a perfect homepage for a UK audience.
http://www.2start.co.uk

I submitted this previously with a wrong URL. My apologies...

Looking forward to your reviews...

Thanks in advance

Jake

Tested in IE6 56k modem 800x600. Loads nice and fast. The page is a bit busy although navigation is good. Otherwise, a nice design. Good luck with it.

Default some layout problems

Viewed in Opera7.23
The Plan Route block fills the available space in the page and is probably correct, the rest of the blocks (my favorite links, search engines etc) are narrower and leave a wide white space to the right of the block.

When I view in IE5.5, these blocks are all the same width (the narower width), and the white space is on the far lrft and right of the page. Now I know how it was supposed to look, Its the Plan Route block that is too wide in Opera.

It looks fine in Mozilla too.

I like the repeat of the logo in the middle of the page. I do find the page a bit full, but as you are aiming to do a 'one-stop-for-lots-of-stuff' functionality, thats probably ok.

I like the colours, but would probably make the grey section a shade or two lighter.

From the look/feel/etc i think you may get a fairly young audience, so how about music and gaming sections.

Basically I think it looks pretty good.

i agree with a lot of what "ricinacloak" has to say, generally i like the site, its good with plenty of content, and i do think you are aiming for the younger 13 - 17 age range,

i personally have google as my home page cause its simple and to the point, i would consider perhaps removing some content and spacing it our a bit more so the more important thinks jump out at you!

only a sugestion, colours are good, and so is layout, hope it goes well for you!
