Your entry page is little hard to read. It's the back ground vs. the font. Other than it looks good. You have a lot of information in there. Your site really provides a service of its own.

I think the text would look better if it were left aligned, with a left margin. It would still be relatively centered, but a little easier to read. The other things that I see are, in the left navigation bar, the links with the arrows should all be uniform, so if you cant fit the picture next to ever link, then you should put it under every link, and maybe group all of the links that take the user from the site in a single grouping at the bottom with a space between those and the inner links. This will make it look cleaner and provide a good division between the inner and outgoing links. You might also open the outgoing links in a new window using the target="_blank" in the link code, then your site would still be open, so the user would not have to go back to return to your site.

Im also not a big fan of the background. The pattern itself itsn't that bad, but I think the color needs to be a little warmer. The blue and white gives it a kind of cold appearance. The only other thing that I'm not a big fan of is the counter at the bottom, but that is just my personal opinion.

Thanks for you comments, and I will improve on my site with some of your good ideas. I'm a Federal Goverment fire department and we have to follow strict guide lines on some stuff (color, and exit signs)
