Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? Default Neighbours From Hell in Britain @ www.nfh.org.uk

Hi all :)

Great to be here and this forum looks very active, I'm going to enjoy reading through all the reviews in particular and hopefully add my own thoughts to some of the threads.

I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to cast an evaluative eye over my work at http://www.nfh.org.uk/

The site has been up and running for almost two years now and I've begun to lose a critical/constructive eye myself!

In particular, does your screen res/browser display the site OK, is it clear how to navigate and does the design overall look 'interesting' enough?

Thanks to all. :)

Default Site commentary

Lots of information, seems to be easily organized and easy to get to. I only have a few suggestions. The overall look is a bit bland, I'm not sure if a brighter color (or colour to our pals in the UK) scheme is needed or what, it's just the overall effect is a bit dull. I think it's probably the low contrast between the beige and the white. Maybe a bit more intense beige (that's a bit of an oxymoron I know but I hope you get it). Also you use the map as a common link to the home page but not the site name image. I tried the name first before I found the map. You might want to use both as a link. Best of luck to you.

Hi dinosf,

Thanks for your comments, much appreciated. :-)

I will take your suggestion and make the site name image a clickable home page link too, that's a good idea.

The colours could also work with some more contrast and I'll try it out to see how it looks.

Cheers!

Matthew
