Tested in IE6 56k modem 800x600. Loads reasonably fast. I would remove the jagged banner at the top. Slightly too wide for 800x600. Background colour needs changing. Might be nice if the links changed colour when the mouse is passed over them. Graphics could do with descriptive ALT tags. Remove the border around the table. I would be inclined to make the counter invisible. Otherwise, a good solid design. Good luck with it.

The site to me looks very much like a beginners work.
Try organizing things a bit.
