Check out some of the competition. Try eliminating the date script and banner, add a logo and tagline, pull the layout together for visual flow. For example make your background similar in color to the background of images so they don't look like elements, but rather part of one holistic design theme.

Weave text and images together, so they work to get your story out. Add context to your location, what other things there are to do, and why it is a good "hub" to base a great vacation from.

The site lacks a coherent design or theme. Something which creates harmony and pulls together individual elements. The copy is a good start, but layout needs to work other elements in with copy. Currently elements look as if dropped here and there on the page.
