Nice site, fast loading. It's tough to offer opinions about this site because as a personal "fun" page you should do whatever you want, as a "professional" or sales site, there are a few "rules" to keep in mind. Here are a few observations from the standpoint of it being a "sales" type of site (remember, most of these won't apply if you are just building a site for the sake of offering information to the rest of the world without the intent of making money):
I don't like the animated "fire" in the logo or below the bike. It was trendy to use animated gifs a few years ago; sites that still do it look dated.
Not to pinch your ego, but the awards don't mean anything. It's just a way to get you to advertise for them. The "Best Taste" award is especially piquant; the button goes to a page selling beef jerky. Go look at your favorite website. Look for their "awards" page. If you find one, let me know.
Most of your pages are too long. Use tables or css to fit more of your content higher up on the page.
Even though your site only has basically 4 pages, your navigation can still be improved. Place it in a column on the left, or someplace near the top - or both.
My approach when trying anything new, including web development, is to look around at what works, what I like, and try to figure out how I can use it in my own work. Try to balance this approach with your own individuality. Picasso said, "Good artists borrow, great artists steal". I imagine he was being humorous, but it does illustrate that a lot can be learned by looking (in this case) at other websites.
Keep working and learning, you're doing well.
