Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate a review of my new directory of Ecotours and Operators. http://www.ecotourdirectory.com

This is the first time I've ever tried to build a site almost completely using CSS. I've also gone for a 'liquid layout' that I'm hoping doesn’t break on to many of your browsers. : )

I started to read a lot of Jakob Nielsen's stuff recently and have tried to incorporate some of his guidelines.

We only have 3 listings at the moment but since the launch on Friday we have had a lot of interest.

Cheers
Gary

Hi.

Your site looks great at NS7, but its appears to have several errors at IE5.5.

The large almost empty green column at the left looks strange.

I also like Jakob Nielsen but some of his recent webdesign and accesibility ideas are probably not worhy trying (there was a lot of discussion at certain blogs about his recent (articles).

Default Thanks for taking a look

Thanks for taking a look. I'll try and find out whats going on in IE 5.5.

I have to admit that I used to find the recommendations from Jakob quite restrictive in terms of design.

I have to say I'm a convert since reading his Homepage usability book.....
