The site is ranked and search engines seem to be indexing alright so far. Site also takes hits from IE, Netscape and Mozilla.
Anyone else having this problem? Greg |

This is not a joke, and I'm not putting you on. I trying to figure it out to.
I can understand your humor, wish I could laugh with you. When I run Codelifter 5.0 I see this. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> </head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"> <title>GabbinFutures :: A comprehensive forum for discussing Futures and Commodities trading.</title> <meta name="KEYWORDS" content="gabbinfutures,gabbingfutures,futures,comm odities,forums, grains,metals,currencies,softs,indices,markets,quo tes,charts,opinions,grains,currencies, energies,financials,indexes,meats,metals,softs,cor n,soybeans,meal,oil,wheat,barley, canola,oats,rough,rice,australian,dollar,british,p ound,canadian,euro,fx,euro/swiss, euro/yen,japanese,yen,mexican,peso,new,zealand,pound/euro,pound/yen,south,african,rand, swiss,franc,u.s.,index,crude,oil,gasoline,unleaded ,heating,oil,natural,gas,propane,10year, t-note,swaps,1month,libor,2year,tnote,30day,fed,fund s,30year,30year,5year,eurodollar, euroyen,muni,bond,index,crb,dow,industrials,gsci,n asdaq100,nikkei225,nyse,composite, russell1000,russell2000,s&p500,s&pmidcap,feeder,le an,hogs,live,cattle,pork,bellies, aluminum,gold,high,grade,copper,palladium,platinum ,silver,cocoa,coffee,cotton,#2, lumber,orangejuice,oj,sugar,#11"> <meta name="DESCRIPTION" content="A comprehensive forum for discussing Futures and Commodities trading."> <meta name="ROBOTS" content="INDEX,FOLLOW"> <meta name="resource-type" content="document"> <meta http-equiv="expires" content="0"> <meta name="author" content="GabbinFutures"> <meta name="copyright" content="Copyright (c) 2003 by GabbinFutures"> <meta name="revisit-after" content="1 days"> <meta name="distribution" content="Global"> <meta name="generator" content="PostNuke 0.7.2.6-Phoenix - http://postnuke.com"> <meta name="rating" content="General"> <link rel="StyleSheet" href="themes/Gabbin/style/styleNN.css" type="text/css"> <style type="text/css">@import url("themes/Gabbin/style/style.css"); </style> What happens if you run this outside the forum? Hi Greg...
The site looks great! Now that it's finally up..LOL! Ok the load time was a little slow I like the color and lay out the text was easy on the eyes...The only suggestion I have is pick the top 24 keywords and put them in order of importance, use them in your first paragraph there describing what it is your forum is there for... the reason for only 24 keywords is that's all the spiders index... so this is what they see <meta name="KEYWORDS" content="gabbinfutures,gabbingfutures,futures,comm odities,forums,grains, metals,currencies,softs,indices,markets,quotes,cha rts,opinions,grains,currencies,energies, financials,indexes,meats,metals,softs,corn> and you are probably missing out on quite a few good keywords from the rest of your list below... Like dollar, euro, british pound, yen .... go through and reprioritize to get the most bang for your buck with the search engines... <meta name="KEYWORDS" content="gabbinfutures,gabbingfutures,futures,comm odities,forums,grains,metals, currencies,softs,indices,markets,quotes,charts,opi nions,grains,currencies,energies, financials,indexes,meats,metals,softs,corn,soybean s,meal,oil,wheat,barley,canola,oats, rough,rice,australian,dollar,british,pound,canadia n,euro,fx,euro/swiss,euro/yen,japanese, yen,mexican,peso,new,zealand,pound/euro,pound/yen,south,african,rand,swiss,franc,u.s., index,crude,oil,gasoline,unleaded,heating,oil,natu ral,gas,propane,10year,t-note,swaps, 1month,libor,2year,tnote,30day,fed,funds,30year,30 year,5year,eurodollar,euroyen,muni, bond,index,crb,dow,industrials,gsci,nasdaq100,nikk ei225,nyse,composite,russell1000, russell2000,s&p500,s&pmidcap,feeder,lean,hogs,live ,cattle,pork,bellies,aluminum,gold, high,grade,copper,palladium,platinum,silver,cocoa, coffee,cotton,#2,lumber,orangejuice,oj,sugar,#11"> hope this helps some;) Cheers m8 NeO~1 |

I still get nothing. And I hope NeO~1 edits his
post to put some carriage returns in that list of keywords because it is stretching this page to ridiculous proportions. Maybe it's Greg's post too. I'll keep trying. Andi

Thanks NeO~1
After hours of troubleshooting, I finally found the problem. I recently did some work on a mod rewrite array. I created my own problem. It's fixed now. Funny thing is that I could see the site from my workstation. Because I have Norton Internet Security it blocked out what the server was sending. Anyways do you think I should resubmit for a new review? I really want the feedback. Greg |

Yes, I do like the design, like a dashboard on a '70's
car. I don't mean that as a put-down, I like it. Some of the outlines don't follow, I mean it looks a bit M.C. Escher-like with boxes within boxes, but I'm just being picky here... I used that same color scheme on one of my first sites, black to dark red gradient--very nice. I like the chrome trim even better than what I used at that time. It is not too wide for my monitor at 1280, but the smallest without side-scrolling is 1000, which is a bit wider than average. You'd expect though, someone trading futures could afford a big monitor--or none at all. ;) Andi
