How old is your brother? I will look over it again and post a review, I must go to sleep now however.

Come on, it's not that bad. You didn't say how old your *little* brother was. My little brother is 45 so him I would probably say needs more content. But if he was 12 or 13, I would just suggest some pointers instead of telling him it was bad. Believe me, there are way worse out there.

I will be glad to comment on your "little brother's" website. However, first I need to know his age. The level of comments will differ based on his age.
Regards,

I think the site is OK.
Given that "smileys" are just plain stupid, in my opinion. Who cares what the site looks like?

Default Smileys or not

I don't think your little brother's age really matters. He simply needs/deserves to be told the truth with an appropriate degree of sensitivity.
Without delving too deeply into what he's created, my immediate reaction is twofold:
1. Lots of imagination and creativity -- full marks for this.
2. Decided lack of explanation as to "what's it all about, Alfie?" -- kind of 3 out of 10, if that.
You have to delve into the Info link before you really catch on that the essential idea is a batch of images that people are free to use PROVIDED THAT ....
This is sort of hinted at in the several (somewhat disjointed/disconnected) lines of text on the homepage, but many people won't click on the Info link and will therefore help themselves to things in ways your little brother doesn't intend.
He needs a much better upfront account of what he's offering to (the right kind of) people.

I must say.. its a very nice effort on your part for your lil brother.
Looking at the site and being aware of the fact that your brother likes it... it can be concluded that he is a kid. right!

So, enhance this site with more pictures, may be animated ones also... I hope he will like it...

Default We all started somewhere

If this is your "little brother's" first attempt at putting a site together - way to go dude. Yes, there are lots of things to learn, but you have taken the first step - as we all did once. Your idea is neat (yes, emoticons do serve a purpose). Read what the others have said - trust their suggestions - continue to grow - as we all have done. I look forward to seeing your site again after you have done some cosmetics, and added some movement.

Default perfect-smileys.com

I would suggest cleaning up the grammar on the title and across the site. The graphics are nice, but the layout of the actual explanation on the home page should be re-arranged, so that it comes first, and is larger. If it is arranged for the spiders' purpose, it seems not a good idea.

The box full of graphics implies you might click on them for some reason, thus them floating there is confusing, as is the intermittent use of German.

More text guidance on the home page would help immensely.

Why do people include a link to the Home page ON the Home page?
