| Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

I am going to agree with Janeth. You have 5 seconds to let your visitor know what you are selling and how to buy it. Remember that it takes a lot of effort and money to bring people to a website (SE & PPC) so we need to make sure we are sending the right message to the prospect client....

Thank you for these posts. There is so much more to creating web pages than meets the eye at first. These posts are great for a newbie. You have given me a lot to work on.

Thanks for a very informative topic, as I have recently posted in 'please review my site' I decided to design a site and learnt as I went along - 'self taught! I also realize my site is awful, so have decided to re-do it, the apple site really caught my eye, I really liked the clean and simple look, easy on the eye...may I just point out that another thing to bear in mind is the amount of space your webhost allows, when uploading images etc onto a site as add-ons have you got enough room to allow recieving of e mails? If you're over your size limit then the answer is no! As we have recently found to our peril at work and had to buy more space or ditch the new look, only one option there! Images take up more room than us 'new guys' realize and the problems that come with them such as slow downloading and lack of space, it's worth checking these things out rather than steaming ahead like I did not realizing half the potential dangers and even worse not knowing the heck what your doing like me! But I'm learning and these sort of posts are helping me all the way, the whole 'circles for construction plan' idea is great ..thanks www.itofficesolution.co.uk |

This is by far the most valuable site I have come across on the net. Having the oportunity to have other critique my site is invaluable.
Suggestions and comments I have received so far are things I didn't see (being biased) I hope that I continue to receive feedback to put to good use. Thanks to everyone who has sent comments so far. Ron www.open247.ca - comments? |

Nice look to the site, clear and uncluttered, but, the age old problem of slow download on a 56k had me out of there through boredom waiting for the page to load, the boxes at the bottom of the home page (projects?) just didn't want to load whatever's in them, and they were odd sizes? Don't want to sound too critical, but obviously that's why we're all here and you are a business offering web design, if clients see the problems I did, they are not going to wnat to use you, good luck, I hope you overcome this problem...by the way I agree, this is really informative and I will certainly be keeping an eye on this one!
