Default Broken Images

Yeah, I checked your sites out yesterday and again just now. Most of your images seem to be broken.

You know it's funny I get a few people who say that and then when I check it out it works fine..I checked it out my comp, my friends, works, and I even look in diff browsers..

But I never have a problem with the images..Could it be some sort of a firewall..I know the school I attened alot of images would not work because the schools firwall would block them..??

ok I just remembered I put a hotlink protection on all the images so that no one will be abel to link to them causing my bandwidth to be used up...;)..

but that shouldn't effect the images from loading on the page..they work fine for myself and anyone else I know...only a select few have had trouble..

Default Unclosed Eyes Design

I like what you are trying to do with this site.
My very first impressions were.

A. pretty plain (Great initial graphic though
B. you might consider giving the scroll box the ability to move faster if the user wants to get further down in the text.
C. I didn't care for the font (that's just me though) I have always perfered the verdana font site 8-9pt.

These are just my own thoughts though. for what its worth. It takes different strokes ...

Yo man;
- The font is horrible, change it !!
- The navigation bar should stand out more from the content of your site, maybe add another BG colour to it or something !!

Hello,
I like your logo, I think you should left align it and either move the other "eyes" by your navigation some where else or delete it.
It makes the page unbalanced with that there.
Also your main logo - try to compress it into either a jpg or gif. Right now it is 115Kb Bitmap.

Your should state what your survey is for. Personally i would not just click on take survey just because it says too. I would want to know what i am taking a survey on.
Also your logo on the survey too is large. If you can't compress it for the quality you want, try slicing it into two or more sections for faster loading.

If you incorporate another color into your scheme, maybe try a green from your logo.

I agree that your navigation should stand out more.
For some great css rollover examples check this out:
http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic/index.htm

I think you should also decrease your font. Both in your main content and your scrolling news section.
If you make your news section smaller as well it wont seem so dominate on the home page.
Unless you want it to be like that.
The white text on the grey background is also a little hard to read.

There are a few spelling mistake on some of your pages. One is the word finshed-->finished on the contact page.

SEO
===

Add more of your keywords into your title tag.
Right now you have this:
<title>UnClosed Eyes</title>

As well as adding your meta keywords and description tags.

.Danielle.

Default Needs some redesign

Here is my review

Loading Time:
Under 10 seconds on 268 kbps connection. Cool

First Impression :
Your site seems too simple for my taste but well done all the same. I think you need to add some life to your site. It seems a bit boring. I would consider changing the colour scheme a lot.

Bad HTML
Almost all the images dont have alt tags attached. I could not find any heading tags. Seems youve taken things too lightly .

Search
It is crap. I say u should start using GOogle search for private websites. (Code at www.google.com/services) . I searchd for images and it could not show me any results. See how I have integrated google search into my website http://www.beta-theta.com/Chemistry/Ions.html

Your page is neither indexed by Google or Alexa. This can be too bad for your traffic.

Rest all is fine. I think you should spend more time doing up your website.

If you like please review my website http://webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=18102

Hey thanks for the review,

My page isn't index anywhere yet as I have yet to go into the SEO part of my site. I have mostly been getting it to look right and entering in what people have been sending to me.

The search on the site is still under development and I do no wish to use the google one as I did before and disliked it.

And I am in the progress of putting more life into it, but not to much I don't want it to be a very lively site..more of a relaxing site to view and read poetry and pictures.

Thanks again, I'll be sure to review your site.

Thumbs on the pictures page are huge! You should photoshop them smaller and have them link to the larger versions.
