Recently I have put up a site on Crystals and Stones. The site is called www.gemsandcrafts.com. It has all kinds of healing stones, Semi Precious jewellery and Stone artefacts. However I have not had much success in promoting my site on the search engines. Could you gurus please review my site and suggest ways that I can make the site popular.

Thanks and looking forward to suggestions and advice.

First of all "Nice Website" and welcome to WebProWorld!

It would have been better to post in Search Engine Discussions (where we discuss online promotion)however your username give a hint at what the site offered and catch my eye.

Without getting into alot of details the very best course to take when you have limited understanding of the promotional requirements is submitting your website to directories for inclusion to gain potential of links under the topics of your site (and potential click throughs) so that search engines can find your site through venues that have a bit more exposure.

My www button contains a fair list of directories that will assist you in the regard.

Additionally, posting at discussion forums is another way to gain the above and when tailored to your specific website areas e.g. gems and crafts - additional potential to develop visitation from people interested in your subject matter.

While there are many such forums available on the web > you may be interested in registering @ http://www.jewelry-pearls.com

While new and limited current membership if you wish to assist the development of this venue I'm sure we can assist the development of your own website for its own promotional abilities.

As noted in your website - you have a keen eye for developing interest in semi-precious stones and one topical area Jewelry Pearls has started to develop, but doesn't have any mutually supportive "products for retail" as yet.

Your inclusion be a definitive asset to current developers namely pearls and diamonds.

Notwithstanding, if you wish online promotional advice for developing exposure in search engines stop in and post at WebProWorld's SE Forums as there are many people there always willing to assist.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi gemsandcrafts!

I'm moving your post to the Site Review forum, to see if you get any further response from our members. In the meantime, why not take fathom's advice and post the more specific questions you may have to the Search Engine Discussions forum.

Best of luck with your site!

Paul

Default Like It!

I like it!

There were a few images that would not display, ut otherwise it looks great.

I likes the product enlargement page. It definitely grabs and commands attention. Have never seen it done that way before.

Best of Luck!

Dave
