Default Internet Positioning Strategies

Greetings members of Webproworld,

This is a new logo for my business. Would you provide me feedback on the colors, shape, etc.? Is it a nebulous image or is it interesting? In your opinion, what message does it communicate to you?

Thank you all in advance for your thoughtful consideration.

What mostly concerns me is your type. The type feels like a solution in and of itself -- either drop the bug or simplify the type.

I would keep the bug, simplify the type and then turn my attention back to the bug which, though fine, is really not all that interesting. That DOES NOT mean making it more complex. The best logos IMO are dimorphic in nature -- i.e. taking two forms and merging them together somehow. The crosshairs (I'm guess that's what your bug represents?) is one form but what can you do to it to make it more interesting? Keep it simple and tight. If nothing else is working for the bug, you can always come back to what you've got which is still pretty good :-)

Just my 2 cents.
