I like this a lot, it makes me think of alibaba.

Although I'm not too sure about the end of restaurant where it gets obscured by the image...

If its to be used in print it may muck things up a fair bit...

Default Flame Design

Hi Bodhi,
Thanks for your post. I think you are off to a great start. I have a little excercise that will help you with the balance of your logo. Temporarily turn off all of your bevels, drop shadows and other filters. Color everything black/white and draw a thick line around your entire logo. Where are the 'holes' or white space? Does the line create a balanced, attractive shape? Ask someone to look at your logo and watch their eyes to see where they look first. Chances are they will jump to either the large 'A' or the design on the right...or in my case, back and forth. In design, it is always best to have one dominant element, and a logical flow for all other elements. I like the typefaces and visual elements you are using, but I think some minor rearrangments in the layout would do wonders for you.

Take Care,

Grease

Thank you grease I like what you have to say... Unfortunately, I made the Ananda’s Logo a while ago and I did not save the workspace... Duh!!!!

I do appreciate your wisdom though. I will do other designs and you can be sure I wont make the errors you point out here...

Thank you again...

Bodhi
