This is pretty cool for a newbie. I'm no expert or professional.. But when you include people I find it looks just that bit better if I slowly and carefully put the lasso selection tool around the person, then feather 1 or 2 pixels, and then cut it from its background. I then paste it to the new background.
DO a search on google for blend tutorials - or check out
http://www.graphicgoo.net I find that they have some great tutorials on what you can do with graphics. Plus some helpful forums to help when you get stuck and can't achieve the result your after.
I really like the little house bit, and the man pulling out his hair. Makes me feel, makes me think the company understands the way I feel.
THe only things I might change though is the drop shadow effect on the small black text - It doesn't mesh well with the font, its a bit too blurry.
I do however like the slight drop shadow on the white text.. perhaps a little less blurring of it though. Would help rates and agents?? stand out more
