Hi everyone. I don't do much logo work, but have been trying to put together something we can use for a new site we are launching. Any comments and criticisms or ideas welcome. I have two possibilities for a logo:




Note, these are not for printwork as much as for use on the web site and at reduced size as a badge on social networking sites.

Definitely like the 2nd one better. The question is going to be if at reduced size, will the text still be legible enough because of the shadowing.

I like the first one but with out the frame shadows

I like the brass around the first one.
I find the spot/highlighting unconvincing because it only appears to illuminate the lettering and not the background.

I like the 2nd one too. It gives me the feel of something that is virutal, not real. I'm not sure what you are selling so that may be what you want.

The first one seems to have a little more contrast to it. The colors may not stand out enough though. the feel comes off a little gray. The design is clean, though. Nice work!

I thought the first one was the best of the two, but I didn't really like either of them to be honest. They look a little plain, and the shadowing on them makes the lettering look uneven.
