Was wondering if you could give some constructive reviews on my logo, I wanted it to be fairly simple but to stand out (not to busy), I also wanted it to be noticeable from a distance (on truck)

darker text is more advisable than white. I don't understand the "diamond" in the middle (separating green and black BG)

I needed something to transition between the green and black, so it serves a couple of purposes, one the diamond gives an appearance of class and the green side of the diamond is to signify forward green thinking (as in the environment), I figured I had to use white as nothing else would show up on black, any thoughts on possibly changing it.

^ doesn't sounds like a good Idea since green is a dark color..
Honestly, the logo is simple with less appeal. When speaking of " Home Maintenance" I guess this is something to do with repair, right? How about a touch of blue? The "diamond", too on the other hand doesn't give justice on the purpose.

Maybe I should go back to the drawing board, I wish I could afford to pay someone to design it for me. I will put my brain back in gear and hopefully come up with something better, anyway thanks for the advice it is very very much appreciated.

I like the logo too. For it to be visible on a truck at a distance you might want to incorporate a large 'white bear'; people will see the bear and as they pass you, they will catch on after a while. After a while people will refer to you as 'that guy with the white bear on the truck, or 'that bear guy''
