Default any advice appreciated

Hi, I'd really like some feedback on my logo design for a children and baby portrait photography site. I am working on the rest of the site at the same time, which needs to look pretty neutral and simple, so I'd like the logo to fit in with that. I think the logo is ok as it is, but i wondered if anyone has any suggestion how to make it better/more interesting/cleaner. Also I'm concerned that the writing at the bottom is too small, but its hard to find a font that's legible which fits the width of the top part.

The logo can be seen here at hannah-brown.com/pmb_test/logo_to_post.png

Thanks very much,

Lazygal

Overall, I like it.

The bottom row of text is very difficult for my 44 year old eyes to read. I'm not sold on the gray background, but I would need to see it implemented on a web page to fully decide.

My .02 for what its worth.

Peace,
Ken

Thanks Ken, I agree. I will make the text a little bigger and maybe then just space out the main text above it so it still aligns. Yeah the grey isn't set in stone, I keep changing it as i work on the rest of the site design, and the colour for everything else keeps changing too. I probably need to be a bit more decisive to make it easier.

The stork element is excellent. The 'picture my baby' is all lower case. I would like to see it with the P...M....B capitalized just to compare. The subtext regarding beautiful portraits from the comfort of your home is excellent however it looks like you have light grey text on a slightly darker grey background. To me grey is always a 'cloudy day' / 'stodgy' color, but with respect to the subtext, you definitely need a better contrast there, the current text is difficult to read.

Love the stork, grey on grey text is too hard to read and too small. Not sure, shouldn't it be beautiful portraits in the comfort of your own home'? Overall pretty good though, got a really nice feel to it.

It's beautiful but more like of a personalized card, if the logo is as small as the sample... Anyhow, the stork gives the background a "light"

I really like it, i was impressed when I clicked it. You might consider making the words on the bottom a little bit lighter for readability and also you may want to try off setting it. Sometimes this adds an interesting depth. Try it out !
