It is simple but too simple. The text is your focus - I would center it better and make it bigger and add just a little style to you. Less is more but in your case you need just a little more

It's little more than "okay", even for an initial effort. Quite honestly, it's too simple (boring) to be very effective. I think the imagery on your site should establish and maintain a theme.

Assuming that the banner is the first thing your users look at, why not use a photo that describes what the site is about or one that invokes a favorable emotion?

Being an amateur I feel soooo grateful for your smallest tip and input. I guess my banner is so simple even though my daughter designed it as a toy on Illustrator. I strongly agree there is a need of bit of work with a style and colors.

Also the idea to add something which would indicate directly my business would be absolutely ideal and I thankyou for your example which indicates so clearly. IN my case perhaps Light of Love is the main element of site and therefore sunset or sunrise photo would be close? Please advise.

I love you guys for unselfish work and time so much.

mib: Is there any way in PSP to save as PNG or JPG? Most of us don't use PSP so might not be able to view the file. If PSP users are also getting an error opening the file, it could be getting garbled in the transmission since .psp may not be network friendly.

If nothing else, PSP should be able to save as BMP, which you can open in MSPAINT and save as PNG or JPG.

Thank you weegills. I did save my banner in JPG format and hope everyone may able to make a comment what is needed most.

If someone knows how to use the colors for a text using Paint Shop it would be much appreciated.
