Too busy. Consolidate the shapes into a cohesive whole. For example use half a snowflame and half a sun to create a circle. The division could be on a slant to keep it dynamic. Poor typeface. Looks too collegic or military.

I agree with the suggestion that it's a little too busy.

I like the red and blue arcs representing hot and cold, we see them all the time on any weather related programs so it's not much of a stretch and most folks would put it together.

Keep working at it and use the red/blue arcs. You're close to having a winner there.

I do like Dubbya's idea about the half circles indicating hot and cold. I might some how add snow and sun but not sure how to do that. or do the half arrow circles around your site name.

You will get it! Good luck,

Michael

Nope, that's not a winner either.

Never mind the snowflake and sun. I see that all the time and It usually makes me think it's a travel business instead of a plumbing/heating company.

Keep it simple. Red and blue arcs, try the original concept with "HVAC-Outlet.com" in the middle.

Big Improvement. Now you need to reduced the detail in the snowflake and sun, create a little space between the two - those colors cant go back to back, and reduce the size of the graphic element relative to the name. You are going to need a more interesting typeface to pull this off - visit myfonts.com and begin browsing some of the more popular Sans Serifs - choose one that captures the strength you are going for, but has a more interesting and modern feel.

Always think, how can i capture the feeling and representation I want in the most simplified form possible.

I like Dubbya's best too. I think it works well for heating/cooling.

The original design is definitely too busy. I don't mind the half sun, half snowflake, but it says weather more than heating/cooling.

My .02.

I think the snowflake breaks up all the lines. It's just not a smooth logo with it in there. The snowflake and sun just don't go together very well. Totally dif lines and colors.
