Looking fior feedback on logo

I am looking for some feedback on our logo..
Any suggestions for improvement? It is for a site
called tv armor.

Frankly it doesnt have characteristics of a logo.

Thanks for the input.. Can you make any suggestions
for improvements/become more logo like?

The company name is TV Armor and the tagline is Protect Your TV.

Should I just add text to it?

Nice Logo! I would highly recommend adding text to it (currently it seems plain).

For starters, a logo should consist of clear-cut lines which would make it legible at all sizes and can be reproduced on all kinds of media. In addition, both the helmet and the monitor screen are of dark blue shades. Due to this lack of contrast, the helmet is not very clear and tends to get lost in the design. If possible, change the color of the helmet or the screen to some lighter shade.

Just remove the display screen entirely and rely on a vector version of the helmet with some text.

Make it look like a logo, not a photo.

I agree with Dubbya, the screen has to go.

It looks like you are using a picture for the helm, that can be confusing and throw of the "logo". A vector helm with a tv outline or something may be more suitable?

I think it definately needs some text - it looks a bit too plain otherwise.
