Default Golf Logo Design

I have done a Logo for about 6 hours of brainstorming and work with Photoshop.

Need your review.

Please do not post any link about my website or any keywords in my domain name as I want privacy and don't want search engine to crawl my website from WPW forum.

Logo is on : MurciaGolfCourses.com

Thank you

Hi steveteva!

It's not bad for a beginner but I think that your logo is overloaded with graphic elements.

Good luck,
Vitaly.

Do you suggest I remove the palm tree?

Steve I think what he is saying is your trying to put to many items in on logo. Most good logos focus on 1-2 elements in the logo. Here you have a golf ball, golfer, palm tree, course view. I would play around with it a little more and trying removing and shuffling each of them around a little more.

You should not be using Photoshop to create a logo.
You can't scale a bitmap and have it look good.
Illustrator is the proper tool.

I don't think you created a logo. I think you created a very attractive "welcome splash".

When you're right, you're right.

steveteva, you'd do well to farm this out to a professional logo designer so that you end up with a design you can use onscreen or in print. You'll end up with a polished, professional corporate image, a defined color palette and a great looking logo no matter how or where it's displayed.

You've already developed a concept, let them tweak it so it POPS! Quite honestly, yours is OK but doesn't really stand out as memorable.

Every marketing company you'll deal with will want a vector graphic at 300dpi, so you'll have to pay for one at some point. Get it done properly now and you'll be miles ahead later.

Again when Dubbya is right....

As a former Marketing Guru (back in the direct mail days), Brand was everything. It still is but now ppl want to add more to it. Think Coke! Think AT&T. One thing, one design and then plaster the hell out of it everywhere!

I did not like the rounded lettering at the bottom (half moon).

Good luck.

Michael
