Hmmm not sure what I did wrong but it doesn't want to display. You view it at the URL displayed in the link text, or by clicking here www.gotranking.com This site is still under construction, but the home page is complete.[/url]

Default Very Nice Job

very nice job atimmins, but don't you think that it needs some frame delay so the text can be read easily?

Default Flame Design

A banner as a logo does not work very well. Our eyes are trained to ignore banners, not look at them. You will have a hard time building a brand with a banner. Sorry, the comic font and bubbles take away from your credibility. You are offering a professional service, your logo should reflect this. I would spend more time drawing concepts on paper first. Then hit the computer with a strong, simple visual in mind. Follow up with a solid fonttype and a logo that integrates into your site design.

Best of luck,

Grease

"Grease" from Flame says it all. And check out Flame's beautiful logo and site! If you're going to listen to critiques, listen to someone who knows design - and Flame is outstanding.

Default Thanks

I appreciate the input. I guess when I created it I put to much of my personality into the design. In retrospect I believe your suggestions are right on, it should reflect the professionalism of the business. The client can then get to know my personality once the business relationship has begun.

Thanks again
