Now I thought that would get some attention!

We are starting a new site, ThingsForSwingers.com. Its not live yet, just wanting to the hosting company to set up the cart, merchant account etc.

If anyone wants to take a stab at desiging a logo, I have attached the genisis of what we would like. The MFFM symbols interlocking. Something fancy, sexy and with WOW! But we also want to make sure we can use it for letterhead, bumper stickers, tattoos (real ones?) etc.

Yeh. Audi kinda already owns a logo very close to this. You might run into a "cease and desist" letter if you try to use it.

Well maybe we can be more creative too. how about one circle with the MFFM coming off of it?

I'm not trying to rain on your parade. Is the one circle with the male/female sign the symbol used by cross-dressers? I'm just curious.
I think you've got a nice logo. I was just tossing out the Audi thing as a caveat to consider.

Cross dressers... Christ I never even thought about that. That is why I am here!!! Get different angles.

I do understand the Audi reference. Not sure they would see it that way but you never know. Good heads up. I would still like to try and see a design. We were thinking just a MFM symbol but that leaves out a lot of the swinging community.

confusing...hurts my brain. also, no one likes to be torn in both directions. your first logo worships the devil and hurts the eyes and this one is confusing and emotionally confounding.....something akin to a sexual deviant with an interest in integral calculus

just lose the two uneeded satanic circles on the first logo and have the very simple yet effective side by side couple who seem to be enjoying one anothers company by virtue of the hand holding and meeting of the minds.

Surely you jest, you sound like the naked Emperor. If you're being serious about not understanding the undertones of your logo then let me explain it to you. (again)

First off, the lifestyle decision you speak of doesn't bother me in the least so you need not apologize. In fact, get the logo right and I might be motivated to start a Chapter here in Vancouver. I'm merely pointing out the objective truth that the arrows look like a horned Lucifer and the pitchfork He carries most of the time and asking if that was your intention....you know, appealing to the non conforming side of our nature. If you really were not aware of the props you were giving to the Evil One, well now you are.

Those two arrows in the first logo are reasonably related to symbols of satan (and his ilk). Remove those, (pretending for a moment that you don't see the satanic overtures) if for no other reason than to not make people dizzy by looking at an optical illusion. What remains are two stick people holding hands and sharing thoughts. The only improvement to be made when you have the two (unhorned) stick people standing there is to make one of them black while the other remains white.

Do that and you have universal love personified, a world that works for most.

In regards to the Audi comment.

I could swear I saw it on an Audi with personal plates that read RLANGDON.

This may also be where the reference to devil worship was mentioned. What they probably meeant was pagenism.

In that respect you could try something with multiple triangles (chalice in cups) forming a xxx to signify the sexual aspect.

Right, yes it does look like Audi, but it also looks very similar to male/female symbols, which I think is what they want.

One thing which you can improve upon is the typeface. Its somewhat generic at the moment.

i think its fair to say that you have tunnel vision and as such are beyond help, as far as logo design is concerned. if you were a client of mine i would fire you for your recalcitrance. you're too in love with your baby to acknowledge the errors of your way yet pretend you're open to ideas when in fact you're not. your request for "help" is nothing but a veiled attempt at promoting your site....in other words...you're cleverly spamming us. well done, move to the front of the class.

i guess the upshot to all this is that if i ever fall in love with my nipples i know who to call.

Nice logo but again some colour is required, kinda looks like the olympics logo to be really honest. Nonethe less still pretty nice
