Cute logo. I could see it being an effective logo, just speculating though without knowing the context in which it will be used -- but I think it may not take a great stretch of imagination to guess.

Without assuming anything, just to offer a nickel's worth of advice, suppose you also had a b/w or grayscale version to cross over to business cards or letterhead... I could see the bone being more of a simple cartoon-style outline but keeping the same fonts in everything, and maybe an outline version of the dog. But that's beside the point.

Needs to be simplified...looks too photographic (the dog) at the moment. Could work well!!

good concept. i think you could clean up the dog cutout, it is a little jagged. also, have you tried seeing what it looks like without using filters on the type? take care..
