Hi drob4481,
You really need to look at your design in the first place. Everything is there but it just does not look professional. I can see that you have a good idea of what you are doing but it is a bit like going to the library and taking out a book with large print. As for your logo, I have so many possibilities but at the same time that is my imagination. Remember your logo is you so give us an idea of what you are about and what you like. Obviously big and bold but is that the true you? Hope I have not been to harsh as I can see your potential. Keep with it. Your on your way.

Functionality, especially with interactive features, is the single most important element of a professionally done site. At this point, I don't think the look of your logo is your most important consideration.
Engaging your potential clients by providing them with working interactive capabilities is essential. Your Free Quote page, http://www.jetblackdesign.com/freequote.htm, is not a complete file. At least when I viewed it for this review, it was broken. My personal preference is to never have mailto links anywhere on a site. The two strongest reasons are that 1) address-harvesting spiders are working sites to find valid POP boxes for their nefarious aggregate-and-disseminate purposes, and 2) even unsophisticated Web surfers don't hold in very high regard having their resident email client load as a means of contacting any site, let alone a purported Web-specialist's. If I seem harsh, keep in mind how demanding a client can be; how p.i.s.s.y, how irrational they often tend to appear. And they're supposedly paying you, while I'm being p.i.s.s.y quite without remuneration. Good luck to you. There's a lot to learn and it's an extremely tough arena you've entered, but before all things: enjoy what you do.
